About the Therapist

Ageeth moved from her home country, The Netherlands, to Ireland in 2000.
She is a primary teacher and senior Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults.

She has worked in private practice, education, mental health, community advisory services, and in school-age teams for children with complex disabilities.
More recently, Ageeth worked for the Disability Support Service at NUI Galway, where she also conducted research for her MA in Adult Learning and Development.

Her research topic on transition challenges in students with neurodiversity inspired her to design transition support programs for this group.

Her passion for lifelong learning and development is currently driven by her interest in (young) adults with
neurodiversity (e.g. Autism, DCD), academic & life coaching and positive psychology.
